ABOUT ART×TECH 2030

Art×Tech 2030 is a global initiative to envision, create, and explore innovative projects that engage with technology and society through art.

As the world lives through a crisis unprecedented in recent history, the inaugural Art×Tech 2030 aims to discover and support international and diverse voices with a sense of mission and purpose.

Connecting artists, designers, and tech industry professionals globally across sectors and disciplines in a time of renewal to explore purpose-driven innovations that benefit societies.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Art explores and furthers the boundaries of human thinking and feeling, while tech explores the boundaries of our ways of life that look into the future. This physical and psychological pairing expands our known dimensions.

Following a time of crisis that exposed the vulnerabilitIes of societies and ways of life, Art×Tech 2030 supports groundbreaking projects that renew the awareness of self, societies, and the world. Guided by the central theme, how does Subconscious Awareness manifest in one's life and work?

A pause on life for many admist Covid-19, opens time to focus on one’s self. The limitations on physical space challenge individuals to be with their inner voice and thoughts. Yielding a greater awareness of the subconscious and reflection on their conscious actions.

What is our sense of self? Do we take ownership of our actions? What’s the objective reality? Do we live up to our true selves? What connects us?

What is the relations between the self and society? How can Art x Tech merge to benefit societies? How can art contribute to tech and tech contribute to art?
