ABOUT THE ART WORK
What is something you ponder in your practice?
I approach my subjects with a curious and loving eye. Landscapes and people that catch my eye are total strangers to me at the first glance, but the more I look at the photograph the more recognition I find in their eyes and in their views. My perception of the world is spinning around the urge to reunite with my home that is long gone in my memory, a place that fuels my nostalgia and paints my recollections in vivid colors of blissfulness and naivety.
But aren’t we all? United by the blissful misery of imperfection of our existence.
